Description
Our Horticultural Grit is perfect for improving drainage in heavy clay soils. Simply dig over the soil and then mix in our hort-grit, this will then create air holes so water can drain through the soil more efficiently. Our grit has been washed to remove any dust and fines which also gives it a neutral PH level. you can also you use Hort-grit as a decorative mulch for you beds and borders and even for filling joints between paving slabs!
Size of Bulk Bag and Coverage
Size: Bulk Bag (75cm x 85cm x 95cm) 0.6 of a Cubic Metre or 600 Litres
Coverage: Each bag will cover approximately 12m² at a depth of 50mm

Delivery Information
Our 6mm Horticultural Grit is delivered in large bulk bags which are either craned off our lorry or using one of our forklifts directly on to your property. Bags will be positioned as close to your garden as the driver can safely do so. Bulk Bags are a great way of reducing the mess created by having stone delivered loose.
