10mm screened topsoil is designed for laying turf ensuring that is has the perfect conditions to prosper.

A 1 tonne of topsoil covers an area of 10 metres square at a depth of 100mm. The topsoil is put through a 10mm screen to ensure the soil is fine but not too thin to avoid rain easily turning it to slush. We have a minimum order of 4 tonnes of topsoil.Topsoil has a £19.95 charge for delivery.

Topsoil is the uppermost layer of soil, usually the top 2 to 6 inches. It has the highest concentration of organic matter and microorganisms, and is where most of the Earth's biological soil activity occurs. Plants generally concentrate their roots in, and obtain most of their nutrients from this layer.
